Abstract
The paper presents the business partners selection system proposed by the authors, which is targeted to strengthen in principle the justification of the decisions to be taken thereof The concerned system is consisted of the following five interrelated components: searching partners, their evaluation, negotiation with potential partners, signing the contracts, monitoring contracts implementation. Links among the components and solving the all tasks under the system are supported by the integrated database of the partnership objects and potential as well as actual business partners. In this context business partners' selection is considered as multicriteria task of ranking alternatives. Partnership objects similarity function and also the three-level-criteria system is adapted when solving this task. Control parameters such as a set of primary criteria and its weights form conditions for adaptatio of the proposed model to specific business conditions. Hereby the quantitative methods are used for evaluations of possible business partners as well as when setting up the preconditions for objective decision making.
