Abstract
HW and SW architecture of a system, that allows mobile hot spots to be connected to the global network using a real bundle of parallel GPRS, EDGE and UMTS mobile data channels, is presented. The main characteristics of QoS of the proposed system are experimentally measured. Dependencies of data throughput, packet delay and delay variation on a mobile data technology, packet routing, queuing algorithms and protocols of VPN tunnels are investigated and summarized results of measurements are provided. Investigation and analysis of the described technology is carried out by Vilnius Technical University together with JSC "Omniter. "Omniter, the largest mobile telecommunications company in the Baltic States, is a member of TeliaSonera group.
