FE simulation of the static behaviour of a diaphragm under real pressure

The rupturing diaphragm with incisions is the key element of the shock tube, is used to generate shock's waves. On the other hand the effect of the diaphragm opening on the shock wave formation in shock tubes is not trivial and the behaviour of the diaphragm during its rupture is a non-conservative and non-linear process. An Author suggests a model which accurately describes the investigations methodology of the behaviour of the diaphragm under the static rupture. A real falling pressure is applied as the presure-time curve to modelling the static behaviour of the diaphragm under its rupture. This static model may be applied to simulate the dynamics process of the diaphragm rupture under the real pressure.
