Abstract

Straipsnyje nagrinėjama istorinė Lietuvos stačiatikių cerkvių raida nuo atsiradimo iki šių laikų, aptariamos pagrindinės projektavimo ir statybos kryptys, ypatumai įvairiais istorijos laikotarpiais, trumpos pagrindinių ir reikšmingų cerkvių pavyzdžių charakteristikos.

This paper deals with the evolution of the architecture of orthodox churches in Lithuania from the times of the origin till nowadays. Main architectural and constructing trends, as well as some historical issues are covered in the paper. In addition to this, technical/architectural features of the most significant churches are provided.
