The data on the cyclic strength of heat-treated welded joints are presented. Their microstructure is analyzed and the static mechanical properties and features are indicated. Compact trial (CT) specimens are made in such a way that the plane of crack propagation goes through the junction of the basic metal and the joint. The results were obtained for the crack propagation in the welded joint the basic metal. The ultimate stress intensity factor (threshold) for steel-faced layer and basic metal was determined.
