K2 specifinio imuniškumo priklausomybės nuo Kex1P ir Kex2P proteazių veikimo tyrimas
Abstract
Dependence of Saccharomyces cerevisiae K2 specific-immunity modulated by the action of Kexlp and Kex2p enzymes were investigated. The immunity of mutated strains bearing K2 killer gene was investigated by evaluating the amount of viable cells subjected to the externally applied K2 toxin using microbiological and biophysical aproach. It was determined that immunity was completely independent from the action of the Kexlp, but slightly dependent on Kex2p functioning, suggesting not only precursor importance in resistance formation but toxin involvement too.
