The aim of this article is to describe the advantages of the Building Energy Pass usage for reduction of buildings heating, exploitation costs. The application of the Building Energy Pass in Czech Republic and in Germany is analysed. The advantages of the Building Energy Pass on different levels such as economics, quality, people, politics, international cooperation, environmental protection also are described.
