Abstract
It is creative thought and the way of its fulfilment that determine the architectural shape as a common result of construction. Thus, architectural idea and constructional invention are aspects of creative thought which are often difficult to decide which of them was a primary one. The main category defining architectural space – opposition of enshrouded space/enshrouding body – conditions constructional tasks. When the motif – order – for the certain shape of space is placed, the way to implement it is wanted. To sum up, it can be said that formation of an architectural object is a united process in a sense of both a project and implementation. All factors have influence on one another during this process: architecture would not exist without engineering invention but constructional thought would not have meaningful basis without the idea of enshrouded space.
