For investigation of spatial movements of the Earth-crust the cosmic geodetic methods were applied. A polygon consisting of 10 geodetic benchmarks was established in 1998. The positioning of the sites was adjusted taking into consideration the tectonic framework of the area. Two measurement cycles have been performed in the polygon. The average quadratic deflections of coordinates of sites do not exceed 0,8 mm. The spatial stresses of the Earth-crust were investigated applying the method of tensor analysis. The strains and tectonic stresses were derived from geodetic data. New data of Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (INPP) region of Earth-crust movement characteristics have been obtained by using Hooke’s law. Data are the changes of tectonic normal and tangent spatial stresses. The variation of tectonic stresses changes from –0,082 MPa to 0,097 MPa. Based on the results of research, a conclusion can be made that territory of INPP region is geodynamically active.
