The properties of refractory concrete with liquid glass based binder and chamotte aggregates
Santrauka
Comparative analysis of physical-mechanical characteristics of concrete with different binders and chamotte aggregates has been carried out. It was determined that cold crushing strength of concrete with complex binders (liquid glass + hardener + alumina cement) after its setting, drying and firing at temperature of (500 – 600) ° C is 1.5 – 3 times higher than of concrete with traditional binder (liquid glass + hardener) and amounts to (28 – 45) MPa. Thermal shock resistance of the concrete has been determined by various methods. Analysis of character of cracks development shows that in concrete with complex binder formation of cracks occurs after higher number of cycles and is of larger extent and with more fragments than in traditional concrete. Possibly it is main reason of high thermal shock resistance of the concrete.
