Project management maturity assessment in Lithuania

Abstract

This paper presents a five-level Simple Organisational Project Management Maturity Model (SOPM3) and an organisational project management maturity assessment questionnaire. Despite its simplicity, the SOPM3 model reflects the key areas of the project management process and is adequate to assess project management maturity. The project management maturity assessment questionnaire consists of 27 questions that measure project management maturity and covers 10 knowledge areas. The maturity model and the maturity assessment questionnaire were used in carrying out an assessment of project management maturity in the Lithuanian construction sector.
