Abstract
The basic disadvantage of suspensijon bridges can be considered being their increased deformability. One of the ways to increase the stiffening beam rigidity to a suspensijon cable. The rigid cable bette resists the imposed and unsymmetrical loads and displacements and retains its originar geometricform. Researches on the suspension bridge,s behaviour with rigid cables up to know werw not carried out. This paper presents a theoretical invesrigation of the suspensijon bridge with rigid cable. AIso, taking into account the geometrical non-linearity of rigid cable behaviour the simplified analysis method for determination of forces and displacements in stiffening girder and cabte of suspension bridge was developed.
