Abstract
Zeolites, due to their unique properties, are widely used worldwide in a wide variety of industrial applications. The use of zeolite is widespread in the production of building materials: special concrete, waterproof gypsum concrete, gypsum board as a moisture absorber in mixtures, as a pozzolanic cement binder with zeolite, in lightweight and refractory partitions. The purpose of these studies is to determine the direct effect of clinoptilolite on cementitious stone without the use of additional additives or admixtures. To study the kinetics of pH and electrical conductivity, as well as the viscosity of cement paste over a period of 30 minutes. The pH tests of cement paste have shown that the pH values range from 12.4 to 13.2, regardless of the zeolite content. Electrical conductivity values range from 8.7 to 14.8mS. Zeolite has a direct effect on the increase in the viscosity of cement paste due to its higher specific surface area. Optimum content of zeolite in cement paste up to 20%.
