Unified enterprise engineering environment

Abstract

This paper proposes shared conceptualisation for the business systems, information systems and supporting software. It argues to separate information systems supporting enterprise as organisational structure, and information systems supporting business carried out by enterprise. The paper introduces conceptual framework to define all above listed systems in unified manner. The proposed approach enables to implement tools that increase reliability of design of enterprise systems because of the possibility to check consistency between business, information and software systems.
