Abstract

The investigation of DH pipes replacement cost and value of saved heat show that a small part with the most detrimental pipes cam be economically justified if replacement of run -out pipes is misjudged. The rehabilitation of more than 50% of DH network is economically justified if the depreciation of old pipes is evaluated.
