Unsustainability recognition of the land use structure according Lithuanian rivers water quality

Abstract

The land use structure may influence around 70% of the change of biogenic materials concentrations in those basins were diffusive agriculture pollution predominates. The land use structure of river basins, corresponding to the tendencies of sustainable development is observed in those basins, where the concentrations of biogenic materials do not exceed the maximal permissible levels (MPL) during the period observed.
