Water flow in the different types of unsaturated soils in Lithuania

Abstract

Two in previous monitoring programs experimentally characterized sites were selected for simulations of water flow in the unsaturated zone in Lithuania. Simulations were carried out using the finite element code HYDRUS-1D. Infiltration results were compared in terms of pressure heads and water contents versus depth.
