Mechanical properties and resistance to cyclic loading of cast steel A216

The article presents data on steel's ASTM A216 WCC mechanical properties and resistance to cyclic loading. Specimens have been prepared of different places of casting and it indices significantly differs in plasticity and resistance to fatigue crack propagation. Especially the differences for the modulus of elasticity E=176-198 GPa and percentage reduction of area Z=45-62 proc. should be denoted.[...]
