The article compares the results of different studies of the distribution of dangerous goods flow between rail and road transport. The dependence assessing the percentage change of dangerous goods delivered by rail and road transport quantity ratio when the total volume of the goods changes by one percent was analysed using an example of actual data. The results of this study have been compared to the results of specialists’ questionnaire concerning the dangerous cargo delivery competitiveness between rail and road transport.
