dc.description.abstractGreen infrastructure management has social, environmental, and economic significance and is subject to regulation in accordance with sustainable development. Landscape architects play a key role in building and managing different green infrastructure components. The basic research goal in the present study is model-ling the specialized competences of a landscape architect, applying the principles of sustainable development in establishing and managing a highly effective green infrastructure. The study presents the necessary educational competences which should be acquired by the landscape architecture graduates in order to be able to implement the principles of sustainable development regarding the landscape and the environment.en_US
