dc.description.abstractDue to increasing amount of information which is sent old technologies of sending information fail to meet modern requirements. It concerns not only the amount of information which is sent but also the speed it is sent at. So, the technologies of using copper cables, which have been used so far, are not capable of satisfying the need for sending information nowadays. Such situation makes ask various questions, which are as follows: what technology can replace the present one; how much does it cost; how soon will the return come back; how will the technology develop in future, what is the forecast considering its perspective in the situation when the demand for greater amount of information and higher speed of sending it has been still increasing in the market? That is why this issue has become more and more topical for international organizations as well as for national sector and the companies, which belong to the private sector.en_US
