dc.description.abstract | Purpose – the aim of the paper is to focus on the issue of corruption in public administration and to compare this phenomenon in relation to the extent that affects individual spheres of state functioning, especially in public administration. Research methodology – the article will use mainly qualitative research methods to achieve the goal. The methodology of the work is based in the first part of the analysis of the theoretical basis, which uses a comparison within the European Union. The practical results of quantitative research through a questionnaire survey are presented in the final part of the paper. Findings – results can be used for both academic and social purposes and further research in this area. Research limitations – the article sees its limits in a broader comparison from an international perspective. Practical implications – the results can serve as a comprehensive material for further research, or an example of so-called Good Practice, how public administration can manage the issue of corruption. Originality/Value – the article in its essence deals with an original topic from the perspective of one country and performance of public administration in the field of corruption. | en_US |
