dc.description.abstract | Straipsnio tikslas – pagal gautus skaitinių ir eksperimentinių bandymų rezultatus nustatyti morfologinių parametrų įtaką deformacinėms grunto savybėms. Skaitiniams ir eksperimentiniams bandymams smėliniai gruntai buvo pasirinkti atsižvelgiant į skirtingas dūlėjimo aplinkas iš keturių vietovių: Baltijos Jūros ties Klaipėdos ir Palangos pakrantėmis, Klaipėdos kopų ties Pirmąja Melnrage bei Neries pakrantės ties Valakampiais. Tiriami gruntai buvo orasausiai, suardytos struktūros. Straipsnyje aptariami morfologinių parametrų nustatymo principai ir naudojamos formulės. Taip pat, pateikiamos minėtų gruntų granuliometrinės sudėties bandymų rezultatai, natūralios sudėties gruntų vidutiniai morfologiniai parametrai bei spūdumo bandymų rezultatai. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | This work presents influence of morphological characteristics of sand particles on compressibility of sand soils of various genesis in Lithuania such as Baltic sea–shore sand along Klaipėda and Palanga, Baltic sea-bank along Klaipėda, Neris river-shore sand. Firstly sieve tests have been done for four types of sands. The values of average area, equivalent diameter, form coefficient, sphericity, roundness and angularity of sand particles for sand soils were studied during microscopic investigations. Microscopic investigations of sands particles were performed with scanning electronic microscope SEM. Image view analysis was done using „STIMAN“ program. In order to determine the influence of morphological characteristics on sands compressibility the oedometer tests was performed. Oedometer test was done for loose air-drained sands. Samples were loaded with maximum 1000 kPa load which was applied with 200kPa/min rate. Experimental investigations shows that the sand compressibility mostly depends on roundness of sands particles. The greater average value of roundness parameter of sand particle the greater value of oedometer deformation modulus of this sand. Also should be mentioned that average equivalent diameter of natural sand is an important morphological characteristic and it should be analysed during determining the influence of other morphological parameters on compressibility. An equipment and infrastructure of Civil Engineering Scientific Research Center of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University was employed for investigation. | en_US |
