dc.description.abstract | The frequency range from 2 to 150 kHz represents a relative gap in the sphere of electromagnetic compatibility as far as the standardization related to compatibility levels, emission limits and immunity levels is concerned. This is mostly due to the facts that, firstly, in the past no significant disturbance sources existed and, secondly, this frequency range was not that intensively used by applications or services. However, this has changed during the recent years and this frequency range is becoming more and more important, for example, with respect to mains communication connected to smart grid applications. The paper describes the current situation and activities concerning issues of electromagnetic compatibility and the relevant standardization. | en_US |
