dc.description.abstractwind conditions, along with chosen numerical tools such as Computational Fluid Dynamics method and evacuation modelling as their supplement. First, results of comparison of different natural ventilation systems a series of transient CFD simulations are shown, illustrating potential problems in the system design with traditional approach. Later in the paper, authors focus on complete analysis of fire related phenomena in wind conditions, for a real historical shopping mall in Warsaw with vertical natural smoke ventilators. All of the steps of the analysis are described, together with some practical remarks. The reference analysis were carried in ANSYS Fluent CFD model, followed by evacuation study with building Exodus software.en_US
