dc.description.abstract | The paper analyses methods for determining aerodrome friction characteristics. Devices used for determining friction coefficients are discussed. Experimental data on friction characteristics of the runway in icy conditions at the International Airport “Kharkov” are presented. Comparison of the de-icing efficiency of different reagents is made. The authors suggest that a common standard value of the friction coefficient should be established. | en_US |
