dc.description.abstractThe paper analyzed the traffic flow on the regulated crossroads given the heterogeneity of the composition of the traffic flow. The influence of different modes of transport on the duration of a traffic signal, found that freight belonging to the same category, but having different dynamic characteristics influence in the selection of a certain duration enable signal, which is especially important when applying traffic signalization in the environment of intelligent transport systems (ITS). During the research, a group of authors developed a method of taking into account the dynamic characteristics of a utility vehicle, which account in determining the duration of the enable signal, will provide an effective time required for vehicles using the traffic light control. In order to determine the positive result of the proposed method performed model experiment on a regulated intersection in an urban environment.en_US
