Gender inequality in the labour power has always been a pressing global issue. Digitalization processes have great potential to achieve better social and economic outcomes in the modern world. However, despite the positive impact of digitalization, the risk of gender inequality patterns still remains, and the emerging new digital reality inevitably creates the prerequisites for the emergence of new threats. The digital gender gap is often observed both in the traditional labour market and in the digital one, which causes discrimination in the context of gender equality, creates social exclusion and creates conditions for the violation of human rights. This article presents the main reasons that create conditions for the formation of the digital gender gap and discusses aspects of legal regulation in order to protect women’s rights in the digital labour market.en_US
