This paper reviews the main groups of power amplifier linearization methods. There are three basic groups of linearization methods: feedforward, feedback and pre-distortion. The principle of operation of mentioned linearization methods is explained. Their main advantages and disadvantages in relation to the specific requirements of 5G networks are reviewed. In addition to basic linearization methods some advanced linearization techniques are discussed. Most popular research directions in the field of linearization are reviewed and the most promising option is proposed.en_US
