Software systems (SS) project failure has been a recurring problem for decades. One of the main factors of project success is appropriately chosen project management methodology and its adaption to the project type, company, and its employees. Although some methods have been proposed to address this problem, the number of failed projects shows that the problem is still relevant. Means, that new and more efficient solutions are needed. This article proposes a new approach to simulate a project management flow and anticipate its shortcomings in the initial stages. It is based on dynamic case management model and notation (CMMN) SS project management process modelling and simulation. The proposed method is evaluated with industry case study.en_US
