| dc.description.abstract | The paper is devoted to the problem of developing information technology for determining the shoe size by a two-dimensional image. To solve this problem, it was chosen a real data set containing photos of an A4 sheet, which shows the contour of an adult's foot. They were taken in different lighting from different angles. The development process includes three stages: implementation of a scanner of a sheet of paper from a photo; color-based segmentation of a scan using the k-means clustering method; measuring the foot length and determining the shoe size according to the EU standard. Based on the obtained results, a generalized algorithm for determining the shoe size by an image was formulated, as well as recommendations and restrictions on photos. | en_US |
