This paper presents a comprehensive study aimed at exploring and harnessing the renewable energy potential within the Peenetal/Loitz region. The primary objective is to maximize the utilization of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar power by developing a modeling and optimization tool for the energy system prototype. The overarching goal is to mitigate carbon emissions and foster sustainable development in the area. Aligned with Germany's energy transition and the German Climate Change Act, this project contributes to the country's broader objectives of transitioning to renewable energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The Energy transition exemplifies successful renewable energy adoption in urban areas, driven by local initiatives, ambitious targets, and supportive policy frameworks. Unlike previous models relying on average estimations for calculating renewable energy potential, this model introduces a digitalized approach that organizes data more efficiently and effectively handles large datasets. It transitions from district-by-district analysis to city-wide assessments with just one operation.en_US
