| dc.description.abstract | The article focuses on the issue of electric cars, with an emphasis on possible accidents and related dangers and threats. Vehicles with an alternative energy source have been on the rise in recent years. The article briefly provides an overview of the current state and forecasts of the development of these vehicles. Subsequently, the technological elements of vehicles with electric drive are evaluated. The supporting part of the article is the identification of scenarios of electric car accident events, which also defines their possible consequences and causes. The article deals with scenarios of accident events - vehicle fire, complete sinking of the vehicle, rescue of persons and battery damage caused by fire. It also includes a numerical part where, based on an expert estimate for the probability of occurrence, significance and prevention of an accident, the risk level of the accident scenario was determined. The part is dedicated to the special solution of possible accident events from the point of view of rescue units. In the article are procedures for dealing with accidents with an emphasis on the danger and threat resulting from these events are established. | en_US |
