| dc.description.abstract | The article is a continuation of the ongoing research of an engineering design of a mini-electric bicycle. The previous outputs include the detailed legislation in individual countries and a historical overview of the development of bicycles. This current study is focused on the description of an engineering design of a frame of a bicycle with respect of the method of designing and safety as the most important requirement for any structure. The main goal of the authors is to design a bicycle with respecting all legislation demands in a particular country and to provide a possibility to assembly such a transport mean self-help in home conditions without lengthy information retrieval. Due to the range of the solved problem, this research presents a simulation of driving regime, namely sitting of a passenger on a bicycle without considering additional loads. The solved structural unit can be included to the competition environment, which is proven by calculated and analysed parameters needed for a proper choose of normalized components. | en_US |
