| dc.description.abstract | This article presents the solutions proposed by various authors and already implemented for the optimization of freight car flows. The functions and tasks of urban logistics, the functions and characteristics of freight transport in the urban logistics system, the problems of using heavy transport in the first and last mile and applied solutions are reviewed. After conducting a survey of experts, the main problems and optimization possibilities of the optimization of cargo transport flows in urban logistics were clarified.
