| dc.description.abstract | In today’s ever-evolving but unpredictable world, the transportation of goods is important for every consumer if they want to have the right product at the right time and place. Transport companies also want to meet customers’ needs as quickly and qualitatively as possible and continue to run their activities profitably. However, contingencies: pandemics and war have a significant impact on the speed, quality and revenue of the transport company. The purpose of the article is to evaluate the influence of factors on the turnover of the transport sector in the context of Lithuania. The aim is to analyze in detail both theoretical and practical aspects of transportation activities and to assess the influence of essential factors on the turnover and income of transport companies. After conducting the research, it was concluded that next to other internal and external environmental factors, export volume has the greatest impact on the income and turnover of transport companies. | en_US |
