The article studies the operation of a cargo customs terminal, which is an element of the system of international multimodal transportation. The object of the study is the operation of a cargo customs terminal as a queuing system network. The main problem is to manage the operation of a cargo customs terminal to ensure an adequate response to production situations arising in the course of its operation. A methodology for analyzing a queuing network that has been developed provides an adequate response to situations arising in the course of its operation and allows adjusting the values of some parameters and characteristics of the network (number of channels, service intensity, etc.) in order to improve the network operation and ensure an optimal process of servicing requirements. To implement the analytical model of the customs terminal operation in the management of variable cargo modules, the system for analyzing the customs terminal mass service network (SACTMSN) was developed in the Excel environment, which consists of two parts – the part for entering initial data and the calculation part. Calculations of the operation mode of a cargo customs terminal as a queuing system using real-life examples showed ways to optimize terminal operations.en_US
