Cohesion in the European Union: new challenges for human resource management
Abstract
The paper considers the problem of improving the management of human resources, closely associated with the cohesion processes, taking place under the conditions of European integration and the European Union development and expansion. It is shown that the cohesion processes determine the basic changes in human resource management, creating the need for using its means and methods to respond to the creation of social and economic common space in the EU. The paper describes the variety of the co-hesion processes, identifying new trends of human resource management and emphasizing new demands for consistent updating of human resource management strategies, taking into account such factors as la-bour market internationalization, migration of people, the development of multiculturalism, etc.
