Ranking and evaluating new Asian suppliers with European suppliers based on performance criteria
Abstract
The scope of this article is to select, monitor, improve, and reward new suppliers’ performance. The firm’s management has decided to extend its suppliers activities in Far East and Turkey. Supplier Quality Engineering Team evaluates all new suppliers. The new suppliers should provide necessary documents (Quality Survey, Financial Statements, Assessment Report, and other requested documents) to the Supplier Assessment Team. Then, possible suppliers are evaluated and ranked with the firm’s Sup-plier Assessment criteria. After evaluation, information will be set and used. Asian and European suppliers are evaluated in district manner. European suppliers were examined to create new suppliers data system. The new ranking system will be used by headquarter and sub-firms.
