Abstract
This research study aims to justify the approach that helps to select major risks to the operation of small energy farms. The approach modifies the method of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). The weights of relative importance are taken into consideration according to the risk factors that may be different at every stage of the small energy plants life cycle.
