Analysis of measurement of sustainable development in the insurance company

Abstract

There are many ways to measure the company’s performance on Sustainable Development, and it is becoming hard to say which method is more accurate. The purpose of this paper was to analyse the methods of measurement of Sustainable Development to find out how results of two methods might differ, while measuring the same company. The biggest insurance company in Lithuania and the Baltic countries is chosen for the analysis. Thorough literature analysis leads to selection of two – one index and one indicator system – methods to measure sustainability.
