Comparative characteristics of biocomponents based on rapeseed and camellina oils for blending with jet fuels

Abstract

This manuscript is devoted to the biofuels based on rapeseed and camellina oils components and studying their characteristics. Also here are the results of comparisons presented biofuels with the traditional Jet A-1 fuel. The main characteristics of Jet biofuels based on oils components were compared with standard requirements of Jet fuels. Such physical-chemical properties were determined in this work: density, fractional composition, viscosity, freezing point, flash point, content of aromatics, heat of combustion and the test on copperplate was occurred.
