Abstract
Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) improve transportation safety and mobility using information gathering, processing and communications between vehicles and road infrastructure. These systems encompass a broad range of wireless and wire communications and electronics. This research shows potential benefits that can are obtained through implementing various ITS deployments. An important role in ITS deployment plays public perception. Proper assessment of gained profit from ITS deployments is important not only for evaluation of effectiveness but also for educating society about ITS technologies.
