The perspectives of small aircraft transportation systems: project development in Ukraine

Abstract

Considering lack of observations on small airports development and reduction of delays in hub-and-spoke airports, the article analyses the implementation of SATS Project in Zhuliany International Airport in Ukraine. The main issue is that under implementation of SATS the small aircrafts could be effectively operated as individual means of transportations which could in result increase traffic flows in small airports and build a competitive transport infrastructure in Ukraine. The main conclusion is that the proposed method implementation is suitable for determining trends towards Zhuliany International Airport traffic growth.
