The research “Monopolization trend conditionality under modern economic conditions: a case study of road construction public
procurement conjuncture” provides a multi-perspective in-depth description of the nature, the occurrence sources, the development
features and the internal structuring specifics of modern monopolization process, assessed through the prism of a an original case
study, based on conjuncture data of the Latvian road construction public procurement market. The conducted research provides an
example of modern econometrical method experimental application within a unified framework of market competition environment
analysis for the purpose of conducting a quantitative monopolization trend evaluation on an industry-level. The research results
may be defined as a system of complex outcomes, which proved to be applicable for both private market entities and public bodies
in terms of investment/business activity strategic analysis for the former and policy/regulatory action planning for the latter.
