Experimental Determination of Equivalent Circuit Parameters for a Synchronous Generator

Abstract

This paper presents the basic experimental procedures and calculations for determining the equivalent-circuit parameters of a small-scale commercial synchronous generator. The tests performed, are based on IEEE guide for synchronous generator test procedures and the IEC standards.
