Abstract
The paper proposes a controller that consists of a combination of Proportional-Integral (PI) and Integral (I) controllers to increase the resistance of the feedback control system to the electromagnetic interferences. Such a controller allows to achieve a better resistance of the control system to the noise signal induced by interferences compared to a conventional PI controller, without deteriorating the dynamic parameters of the control system. The advantages of the proposed PI/I controller are demonstrated by investigating the control system with the plant dynamics typical for plants based on frequency converters implemented for the automatic speed control of AC induction motor drives of liquid supply pumps. The case when noise signal is induced on the line, through which the feedback signal of the sensor is transmitted to the controller input, has been investigated.
