Study of Effect of Oil Replenishment on the Amount of Mechanical Impurities in Multi-unit Diesel Engine Oil

Abstract

Practical tests were carried out to evaluate the efficiency of diesel engine oil additional filtration equipment. When tests were performed on non-new diesel engines, oil was periodically replenished. Due to the oil replenishment, it was difficult to evaluate the change in the characteristics of the oil. The authors of the article proposed a methodology for evaluating the effect of oil replenishment on the effectiveness of oil filtration equipment.
