Variation in Lithuanian river water temperatures

Abstract

In this article the variation in Lithuanian river water temperatures of the warm season (May–October) of the year for both the whole observation period (1945–2008) and the latest standard normals period (1961–1990) is analysed. According to 1961–1990 periods’ standard normals data, the map of river water temperature distribution was compiled. Also, the correlation analysis between the warm season’s river and lake water temperature as well as air temperature was performed.
