Global transformations: variety, phenomena and regularities, holistic approach

The processes of globalization, global transformations, as well as new global challenges for the
social, economic and technological development of the contemporary society and societal life are analyzed
in this theoretical article. The main attention is paid on so called processes of global transformations,
as well as on the problems of scientific cognition of these processes and on the needs to solve
these problems. The processes of global transformations are defined and described comprehensively. It is
noted that contemporary global transformations should be identified not only as extremely complicated,
multidimensional and contradictory processes, but also as a significant and very important field of the
scientific cognition, research and academic studies, especially - of the research and studies, which are focused
on the needs to solve many current problems typical for the contemporary society, its social, economic,
technological, political development, culture and societal life in general. The complex analysis
and the multidimensional evaluation of the processes of global transformations, as an perspective theoretical
approach in research on societal changes and modern social, economic, technological and political
development in the context of globalization is defined and described in the article. The variety of global
transformations is described, the main problems and processes of current social, economic, technological
and political development, as well as problems of ecology in the context of globalization are identified
and studied. It is noted that the sustainability oriented interaction between the various processes of global
transformations is a very important factor of the positive changes in the life of the contemporary society
in the contditions of globalization. The main idea of the complex analysis and of the evaluation of the factors
of interaction between various processes of global transformations is that all these processes, as a
common global transformations, should be defined and analyzed on the basis of a holistic approach: this
idea could be defined as a perspective theoretical framework to solve the contemporary problems of the
current social, economic, technological and political development in the context of globalization in general,
as well as the problems of the increase of development efficiency in the social and economic space
of the European Union. The main phenomena and regularities of the global transformations are identified,
their impact on real processes of social, economic, technological and political development is characterized.
The main principles of the modern society and effective economy creation in the context of
global transformations are formulated. The so-called holistic approach to the scientific cognition and research
on the processes of globalization, on the global transformations and their impact on the social,
economic, technological, political development, culture, ecological situation, security and sustainability in
the contemporary conditionsis described.
